Dedicated in Support of Big Brothers Big Sisters Sports Buddies Program!

Sports Buddies Bigs meet their Littles in a group once to twice a month to either play sports or attend a sporting event.  As the state’s premier youth mentoring program, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado plans all the activities, provides all equipment, tickets and transportation, so you can make a Big difference in a young life if you donate when you register!

1K athletes will leave the lot at City Park heading Northeast on Big Dry Creek Trail.  As an out-and-back course, athletes will run approximately .3 miles to the turnaround then return the way they came.

5K athletes will leave the lot at City Park heading Northeast on Big Dry Creek Trail.  As an out-and-back course, athletes will run approximately 1.5 miles to the turnaround then return the way they came with 2 opportunities to fuel up at or near the 1 & 2 mile marks.

10K athletes will leave the lot at City Park heading Northeast on Big Dry Creek Trail.  As an out-and-back course, athletes will run approximately 3.1 miles to the turnaround then return the way they came with 4 opportunities to fuel up at or near the 1, 2.25, 3.75 & 5 mile marks.

Not racing this one? You can still participate as a volunteer! Athletes on a rest day… friends… family… there’s no experience necessary, and without you… these events wouldn’t be possible.

Participants – Competitive runners, joggers, walkers, wheelchairs & strollers… all are welcome, but please follow all staff direction for start line positioning on race day.

Post-Race Meal – Although the post-race meal is FREE for all athletes… it is for athletes and volunteers only. Spectators should plan to bring food & beverage accordingly.

Raffle – You DO NOT want to miss the award ceremony & raffle! All athletes will be eligible to win!

Volunteers – Athletes taking a rest day, friends, family… volunteers make it all happen. There is no experience necessary and all will receive the same great SWAG as the athletes.
