One of Colorado’s favorite trails meets one of its most glorious parks at our all new, 2015 Beat the Heat 5K, 10K, Half & Full Marathon! As all distances wind southwest along Big Dry Creek Trail, the remarkable sight of Standley Lake with the Flatirons on the horizon will come into view, then the rustic nature to the northeast will be waiting to greet our marathon athletes. A course that’s not too hilly & not too flat makes this the perfect event for all abilities & preferences, plus… along with its sister event in September (Fallfest), All-Out Multisport is proud to bring you the one and only groomed trail marathon course in the Denver Metro Area!

Without YOU, these events simply wouldn’t be possible.

From event prep to packet pick-up, and from course marshals to meal service, there are a variety of ways you can help. Sure… when you volunteer, you can look forward to that warm & fuzzy feeling that comes by giving back, but with All-Out Multisport, there’s WAY more to it than that. There’s no experience necessary, but space is limited so please let us know you’re available right away! Athletes: We know endurance sports can take a big chunk out of your pocket book and we’ve got your back. Check out our ‘Earn a Free Entry’ program! Groups: Tired of those bake sales & car washes? We are happy to be a part of your fundraising efforts! (Donations begin with just 10 volunteers and you need not be an official nonprofit.) Students: Earn those credits in the most fun way possible!

DirectionsThe Church Ranch Office Park is located at 10170 Church Ranch Wy in Westminster, CO. Click here for a map or to get directions.

ParkingAthletes & spectators will be asked to park in the lots north, east and west of the office building, leaving the south lot accessible for volunteers and event operations. Please follow all parking signs & staff direction on race day.

Personal SuppliesMarathon athletes will be welcome to bring personal supply bags that will be made available to them just after the half-way point of their race.  Please feel free to pack anything from your specific, tried-and-true nutrition to anti-chafing products, extra clothing, or a change of shoes, then rest assured… we’ll have it waiting for you when you get there!  *IMPORTANT:  All personal supply bags must be clearly marked with your bib number and must be left at the ‘Gear Check’ area at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the marathon.

Time LimitAs much as we’d like to support each and every athlete through to the finish no matter what… parks, trails, vendors and volunteers all need to know when they can expect to be done for the day.  Therefore, although there will be a strictly enforced, no exceptions, 6.5 hour time limit for the full marathon, we’ll be implementing the cut-off in a unique way to provide two options for all who might fall a bit behind.

Athletes who are unable to maintain an average 14:55 minute/mile pace for the first 12.8 miles of their race can choose to either,

1. Head for the finish line and be moved into the half marathon competition… fully eligible for awards & raffle prizes, or
2. Give up their bib and continue toward the day’s goal of 26.2.

Although we totally get how unappealing it would be to train for a marathon then go home with a half marathon finisher’s medal, please understand that choosing the latter option above would classify you as a DNF on the results and would very likely mean course markings, marshals, aid stations, finish aid, and every other form of support would be gone before you arrive.  In effect, giving up your bib will instantly turn you into ‘John Q. Public’ and end your participation in this event.

The above information is only that which is unique to this event.
