|5K Athletes will leave the marina lot and turn right onto the main park road (running with traffic as required by Park Management), to begin a clockwise loop. After just under 1 1/4 miles, athletes will turn right and run a short section before turning left onto Bear Creek Trail. After completing a dogleg, athletes will continue on the trail until they once again reach the main park road. Returning the way they came to the finish line and the cheers of friends and family, 5K athletes will have access to one aid station twice along the way. NOTE: Due to the park’s requirement that athletes run WITH traffic on the road portions of the course, we will be coning off a shoulder for your safety. Please be sure to stay INSIDE THE CONES at all times.|
